Why does the process take so long? What do I tell my client when they ask?
Concrete requires a minimum amount of time to cure before we can fully test its strength. Technicians take four (4) samples, and break them in the following manner: one (1) after 7 days, and the other three (3) after 28 days. Once these are all tested and reported, the project is considered complete.
I scheduled an appointment, why was my full payment not taken?
A 50% deposit is due when scheduling to secure your appointment, the rest is due when your report is ready.
Why am I being charged for a full day?
Despite the size of the load being poured, construction projects, especially in New York City, are prone to exceed their schedules. Several factors contribute to this, including heavy traffic, potential accidents, and specific truck routing to each site. As such, what may initially appear as a brief 2-hour site visit could extend into a full-day commitment.
